Action Photography

The easiest way to shoot action is to think about zone focus, where you focus on an area where you know there will be action. If you use zone focus then you have to make sure that the shutter speed is fast enough to freeze action.

If you have to use a slow shutter speed then you will have to pan, where you follow the subject with camera. If not then you have to wait for the pause which is when you watch for a games natural pauses to take a photo of.
